Tropikal Resort in Durres Albania.Based on the style of similar developments in the Mediterranean, although of a smaller scale, Tropikal Beach Resort is a newly rebuilt complex in the area of Durres Beach known as Plepa. It is composed of a 3*** Superior quality hotel and several smaller one storey buildings who have seen a facelift but offer more basic accommodation. The big plus of this resort is the fact that it covers a territory of 90000 square metres with plenty of green spaces, palm trees and well kept gardens. Mediterranean nature and atmosphere create the perfect combination for a different kind of holiday in this area. The architectural plan aims to maximize the use of space and the surrounding environment to offer vacationers a number of products and services and not simply a room. It offers a natural beach on the Adriatic Sea which due to being surrounded by the holiday houses of the army, apart from offering security, make it secluded and less crowded. In the summer the complex offers entertainment programmes and summer disco with professional dancers from the well known Club Venue of Tirana, that make it a very attractive place, even to those clients who are not staying at Tropikal. It is without a doubt one of the few spots in this area where an interesting summer holiday can be enjoyed. There is something for everyone at Tropikal and in addition the professional and friendly staff completes a qualitative environment. The suites in addition offer kitchen facilities combined with a lounge. The complex also offers a number of simple one storey buildings composed of 3 different apartments each. Tropical has a beach bar, two restaurants one of which brand new, with traditional, italian and seafood specialities. It has parking, gardens, a famous summer disco and offers beach umbrellas and chairs free of charge for its guests. The personel comunicates in English and Italian. It has 3 Bar, Restaurant, Conference Hall, Parking, Private beach only for customers, playing ground with different games etc., taxi service. With verandas of the clear and limpid sea of the Durres sea gulf.
